Young man killed over Ludo game in Nangarhar

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A young man has been killed following a clash over Ludo game and one individual arrested in connection with the case in eastern Nangarhar province, police said on Sunday.

In a statement, the police headquarters wrote a verbal clash surfaced over Ludo game between two villagers turned into a physical altercation in Kala Akhund area of Kama district.

“A 25-year-old man got into an argument with one of his villagers while playing Ludo. The other party hit him on the head with a stick and he died after sustaining serious injuries,” it added.

According to the statement, security forces reached the scene and detained an individual on charge of murdering the man. The detainee would be referred to judicial organs after investigation.
