Abu Muslim Farah football team leaves for Bhutan

KABUL (Pajhwok): Abu Muslim Farah football team has left for Bhutan to play against the country’s Paro FC football club, the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) said on Tuesday.

AFF said on its Facebook page the Abu Muslim Farah team is scheduled to face the Bhutanese club in the playoff stage of the Asian Challenge League on August 12.

“AFF officials fully support Abu Muslim Farah Club and wish them success on representing our country’s club football in the upcoming match against Paro FC”: the report added.

Abu Muslim Farah is the champions of the fourth season of the Afghan Champions League.

The fourth season of the Afghan Champions League was held in January last year, hosted by Herat Province and featured 12 teams from different provinces. In the end, the Abu Muslim Farah football team won the championship title.
