5 Pakistani policemen killed in KP attacks

KABUL (Pajhwok): Five Pakistani policemen have been killed and as many others  injured in militant attacks across different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, media reports said on Thursday.

According to ARY News, the attacks occurred in Der, Lajbook, and Peshawar areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In Der, militants targeted a police patrol vehicle, killing three policemen and wounding three others.

Attacks on police posts were also carried out in the Lajbook area of Der and in Peshawar, leaving two policemen dead and two others injured.

Last month, a car bombing on a Pakistani army vehicle in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killed 13 soldiers and wounded 24 others, including 10 soldiers.
