FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): At least two people have been killed and six others wounded in a traffic accident in western Badghis province, an official said on Friday.
Police spokesman Sediq Sediqi said in a statement the accident occurred on Badghis-Faryab highway in the Koi Khari area of Muqur district on Thursday afternoon.
The victims were residents of the Maruchaq area in Bala Murghab district, and the injured were taken to a health centre for treatment.
Sediqi blamed the accident on poor road conditions and reckless driving of a land cruiser-type vehicle.
