KABUL (Pajhwok): Kabul will host trilateral talks with Pakistan and Afghanistan and China tomorrow to discuss ]counterterrorism cooperation, connectivity, peace, development and trade.
Pakistani newspaper The Nation reported Afghanistan is hosting the trilateral meeting in Kabul and has invited Chinese and Pakistani Foreign Ministers for talks on the economic and security future of Afghanistan.
During the day-long huddle, all issues and subjects related to Afghanistan’s peace, security, and development would come under discussion.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi will attend the trilateral meeting along with their senior officials.
The last trilateral meeting among the three foreign ministers had taken place in Beijing on May 21 this year. The Kabul moot would discuss progress on key points agreed upon by Pakistan, China, and Afghanistan.
Issues related to the extension of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), peace, security, and development will come under discussion.
