KABUL (Pajhwok): Kabul is set to host a trilateral meeting with Pakistan and China today (Wednesday), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has announced.
The talks will cover a wide range of key issues, including political, economic and regional cooperation among the three countries.
According to MoFA, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar have arrived in Kabul to attend the day-long meeting.
The ministry said the discussions would focus particularly on political, economic and regional cooperation, as well as the future of relations based on mutual interests, understanding and enhanced collaboration.
In addition to participating in the trilateral dialogue, Wang Yi will also hold several bilateral meetings with senior officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) to discuss strengthening ties, boosting economic cooperation and deepening mutual trust between Kabul and Beijing.
