JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three people have been arrested in connection with the killing of six members of a family in Surkhrod district of eastern Nangarhar province.
On Tuesday, unidentified gunmen killed six members of a family in the Sultanpur area of the district.
In a statement, the police headquarters said that three individuals had been detained in connection with the incident.
Without providing further details, the statement added: “According to the confessions of the detainees, the incident arose from personal and family issues. Further developments in the case will be reported soon.”
The statement also confirmed that the perpetrators of the crime will be brought to justice.
