MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Three armed robbers have been killed in a clash with security forces in Charbolak district of northern Balkh province, police said on Saturday.
In a statement, the police headquarters said: “The robbers had entered a house with the intention of theft. Mujahideen were informed in time and they took action. Following a brief resistance, the three robbers were killed, while a fourth one managed to flee. Efforts are underway to arrest him.”
It said security forces recovered thee weapons and a motorcycle from the slain robbers.
On Friday night, another robber was also killed during an armed clash with security forces in western Herat province.
