Schedule for CAFA Nations Cup unveiled

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) has revealed the schedule for the group-stage matches of the 2025 CAFA Nations Cup.

As per the schedule, Afghanistan will take on Iran on August 29 in their first match.

In a post on its official Facebook page, CAFA said it was pleased to share the official schedule for the group-stage fixtures of the 2025 CAFA Nations Cup.

Afghanistan has been placed in Group B alongside Iran, India and the hosts Tajikistan.

According to the schedule, Afghanistan will play its opening match against Iran on August 29, its second match against Tajikistan on September 1, and its third match against India on September 4.

Meanwhile, Group A comprises Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Oman, with their matches set to be played in Uzbekistan.

According to CAFA, the tournament will commence on August 29 and continue until September 8.
