20,000 children killed in Gaza in past 23 months

KABUL (Pajhwok): About 20,000 children have been killed and 42,011 others injured in the Israel’s war on Gaza in the past 23 months, the Save the Children International said on Sunday.

The Save the Children reported at least 20,000 children lost their lives during the nearly 23-month-old war in Gaza.

It said on average, one child lost their life every hour in Gaza, with 1,009 children under the age of one.

During this period, 42,011 children have been injured, 21,000 others permanently disabled, and thousands more are missing and believed to be buried, the Save the Children claimed.

According to the report, the lives of surviving children in Gaza are at risk every day.
