Woman killed, 4 wounded in Ghazni accidents

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A woman has been killed and four others injured in two separate traffic accidents in southern Ghazni province, police said on Monday.

In a statement, the police headquarter wrote the first accident took place when a passenger vehicle collided with a truck in Waghiz district on the Kabul-Kandahar highway on Monday at 2:00am.

It said a woman lost her life, another woman and a man were injured in the collision.

Separately, two individuals were injured after a Hilux vehicle overturned in Spin Band area of Ab Band district last night.

Blaming the accident on the darkness of night, the police statement said security forces reached to the scene and evacuated the injured to the Ghazni Civil Hospital.
