1 killed, 5 injured in Badghis traffic accident

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): One person has been killed and five others injured in a traffic accident in western Badghis province, an official said on Wednesday.

Police spokesman Sediqullah Sediqi said that the accident occurred on Tuesday when three motorbikes collided simultaneously in the Baghbanan area of Qala-i-Naw city.

He added that among the injured, four were said to be in critical condition and have been transferred to the provincial central hospital in Herat province for treatment.

While the exact cause of the accident remains unclear, the spokesman attributed such incidents to reckless driving.
