KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 65 Palestinians, including 14 members of a single family, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, reports said on Saturday.
Al Jazeera reported that 48 of the victims died in Gaza City and the north of the besieged enclave.
In addition to heavy bombardment, Israeli forces used remote-controlled explosives and illumination bombs, causing fear and panic among displaced civilians, the broadcaster said.
One strike on a house in the Al-Tuffah area of Gaza killed 14 members of the same family.
In Gaza City’s Daraj neighbourhood, a child was killed and several others injured, while a school in northern Gaza was completely destroyed.
Overall, Friday’s bombardment left 65 people dead, according to the report.
