81 Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 81 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air and ground attacks on Gaza on Wednesday, according to a media report on Thursday.

Citing health officials in Gaza, Al Jazeera reported that the death toll from Israeli strikes on Wednesday had reached 81.

A day earlier, on Tuesday, at least 106 Palestinians were killed and 367 others injured in similar attacks, the report added.

According to Al Jazeera, more than 65,000 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 165,700 injured since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on Gaza.

Meanwhile, an emergency summit of Arab and Islamic countries, held in Doha on Monday, September 14, called for an end to what it described as “Israeli aggression.”

The summit urged legal and effective actions against Israel, including sanctions and the severing of diplomatic and economic ties.

The participants emphasized that lasting peace could only be achieved through an end to the occupation and the guarantee of full rights for the Palestinian people.
