KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) on Sunday said it has improved media access to information through coordination programs and national dialogues, pledging continued support to all media outlets.
Marking International Day for Universal Access to Information, ministry spokesman Khobaib Ghofran said MoIC — as the only sectoral and supportive authority for media — is committed to ensuring access to information.
He said the ministry has organized programs linking spokespersons of Islamic Emirate institutions in Kabul and provinces with media officials, which have produced positive results.
As an example, he cited a recent national dialogue involving journalists from across the country, reflecting the ministry’s efforts to strengthen access to information.
