4 gunned down in criminal incident in Kapisa

MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): At least four people have shot dead in a criminal incident in Tagab district of central Kapisa province, police said on Saturday.

In a statement, the police headquarters said the incident took place in Daram Daram area of the district on Friday afternoon.

It said: “Four people were shot dead in this incident by Shafiullah and Talib, the sons of Malang, residents of Alasay district of Kapisa province. According to intelligence information, the perpetrators fled towards Koti village after the attack.”

The statement added last year, Sediqullah, one of Malang’s sons, was accidentally shot dead, but the issue had been resolved through mediation.

However, the perpetrators lured the four victims to Tagab district and killed them to avenge Sediqullah’s death, the statement concluded.
