3 children killed in Khost roof cave-in

KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): At least three children have been killed after the roof of a room collapsed due to heavy rainfall in Shamal Doamanda district of southeastern Khost province, officials said on Sunday.

Governor’s spokesman Mostaghfar Gurbaz said the incident occurred in Kamalkhel village around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday.

He added that the roof of one room in a house collapsed after continuous rain, killing three children, including two girls.
