MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Fourteen people, including women and children, have been injured in a traffic incident in the Alasai district of central Kapisa province, an official said on Tuesday.
Abdul Fattah Faiz, spokesman for the Kapisa police headquarters, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accident occurred shortly after 6am today in the Shapi valley of Alasai district when a "Flying Coach"-type heading towards the district center skidded off the road and overturned.
According to him, the injured were transferred to medical centers with the help of security forces and local residents. Faiz cited the driver’s carelessness and the narrowness of the road as the main causes of the accident.
