GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): About 921.5 acres of land in the Nawabad area of Ghazni city, the capital of southern Ghazni province, have been officially registered as state property, the governor’s office said on Thursday.
According to a statement from the provincial administration, the land is located in two cadastral parcels within the city. The Commission for the Prevention of Land Grabbing had previously investigated the property and formally submitted the case to the Special Court for Seized State Lands of the Central Zone for adjudication.
The statement added that, after a thorough review of documents, property records, and information from relevant authorities regarding the claims of occupants, the court ruled that the 921.5 acres are officially state-owned.
The land will be recorded in the state land registry, and occupants will be leased the property in accordance with regulations.
It should be noted that three months ago, the same court officially registered 1,293 jiribs of land in the “Hakim Sanai” neighborhood of Ghazni city’s Ali Lala area.
