15 dead in Brazil traffic accident

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 15 people have died in a traffic accident in Brazil, according to media reports on Sunday.

The Federal Police of Brazil said the incident occurred at night in the state of Pernambuco, in the country’s northeast, when a bus veered off the road, Reuters reported.

Police confirmed that 30 people were on board. Of the victims, 11 were women and four were men. The driver sustained minor injuries. The total number of injured passengers has not yet been announced.
