KABUL (Pajhwok): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) is providing food assistance to 2,000 recently returned families in Kabul, an official said on Saturday.
Qari Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli, head of the Tawhid Welfare Organization for Afghanistan’s Orphans (TWOAO), said the aid is being distributed with financial support from KSRelief, in technical cooperation with TWOAO and in coordination with Afghanistan’s Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation.
He explained that the distribution process began on Saturday at a camp set up for returnees on the outskirts of Kabul.
Each family will receive 50 kilograms of flour, 5 kilograms of rice, 5 kilograms of beans, 5.5 kilograms of sugar, and 5 liters of cooking oil.
