50 athletes chosen for Kabul western zone bodybuilding team

KABUL (Pajhwok): A fitness selection competition has concluded and 50 athletes have been selected in western zone of Kabul, the National Olympic Committee said on Thursday.

On its X handle, the Olympic, Physical Education and Sports Department wrote the sixth round of the fitness selection competition was held two days ago by the National Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation at the Zurkhaneh Sports Gymnasium in Kabul City. The fitness competition featuring 207 athletes from 43 clubs in the western zone ended today.

The competition was held in ten different categories in the fitness section, from 160 centimeters to +190 centimeters.

At the end, five athletes from each category, totaling 50 athletes, were selected for the Kabul City Western Zone Bodybuilding and Fitness Team, the report added.
