IEA leader: Seminary, varsity, school, societies crucial for the system

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has instructed the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) to always consult with religious scholars in its affairs and, in addition to students’ professional education, to also pay attention to their ideological, intellectual and religious training.

In a statement, the MoHE said that a meeting was held on Thursday with government officials to strengthen the education system, during which the efforts of scholars and professors in this regard were appreciated.

Minister of Higher Education Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem read the message of the IEA’s Supreme Leader, in which he praised all scholars and professors who have cooperated with the MoHE in improving academic materials, training students, and other related areas.

The message emphasized the importance and responsibilities of scholars and directed the ministry to continuously consult with them in its affairs, ensuring that students receive ideological, intellectual, and religious guidance alongside their professional education.

In his message, the IEA Leader said: “Madrasa, university, school, and society are all necessities of the system.”
