4 killed, 2 injured in Parwan traffic accident

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Four people lost their lives and two others were injured in a traffic accident in central Parwan province on Wednesday.

Police spokesman Fazlur Rahim Meskinyar told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident occurred when a truck collided with a corolla-type vehicle in the “Chaharda” area of Siyagerd district this morning.

He said four passengers in the Corolla car, including women and children, lost their lives, while two others were injured in the accident.

The injured were evacuated to Ghorband clinic and then shifted to the provincial civil hospital in Parwan for treatment.

Maskinyar explained both vehicles and their drivers were taken into police custody, and preliminary investigations indicated that reckless driving by the Corolla driver caused the accident.
