The tournament, which featured five regional teams—Boost, Mes Aynak, Spin Ghar, Amu, and Band-i Amir—was held in southern Kandahar province, ACB said in a statement.

The final match of the tournament was played between Boost and Mes Aynak teams.

Boost decided to bat first after winning the toss and posted 175 runs on the scorecard with the loss of five wickets.

In response, the Mes Aynak team fell short of the target, scoring 170 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs, losing the match by five runs.

Notably, Jamil Shah, the captain of the Mes Aynak team, was named the best player of the tournament, while his teammate Fareed was awarded the title of young player of the event.
