Woman among 2 persons killed in Nangarhar accidents

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two people, including a woman, have been killed in two separate traffic accidents in eastern Nangarhar province, police said on Monday.

The Nangarhar Police Headquarters said in a statement that the first incident took place when a car overturned in Surkh Rud district, killing one person.

The second accident took place when a car overturned in Bombakhot area of Dara Noor district, leaving a woman dead.

The police identified failure to comply with traffic rules, high speed, improperly handling road conditions, and lack of caution as main factors behind such ill-fatted incidents.
