Farah man arrested for allegedly killing wife

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested a man accused of killing his wife and injuring his minor daughter in western Farah province, an official said on Wednesday.

Police spokesman Mawlawi Mohammad Nasim Badri told Pajhwok Afghan News security personnel arrested the suspect, identified as Mohammad Sadiq, from Hak village in Gulistan district.

According to Badri, Sadiq allegedly killed his wife with a knife and injured his minor daughter on Tuesday.

He said that security forces arrived promptly at the scene and apprehended the suspect, who has been handed over to judicial authorities for further investigation.
