MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): Three people were killed and five others injured in a traffic accident on the Kabul–Jalalabad highway in eastern Laghman province, a police official said on Friday.
According to a statement from Laghman police, the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon near Kakcha in the seventh police district of Laghman, when an Astana vehicle collided with a Saracha vehicle.
The statement added that a woman and a child were among the deceased, while five others sustained injuries.
