GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A child was killed and five others injured in two separate traffic accidents in central Maidan Wardak province, an official said on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the provincial police headquarters, the first accident occurred in the Sultankhel area of Syedabad district along the Kabul–Kandahar highway, where two Corolla-type vehicles collided. As a result, a child lost his life and four others were injured.
In a separate incident, one person was injured when a van crashed into a motorcycle in Daimirdad district.
Police said all the injured individuals were transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
