KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) has announced a 17-member squad for the national futsal team’s upcoming training camp and two friendly matches against Kuwait.
The team’s goalkeepers are Mohammad Jawad Safari, Alireza Jafari, and Ali Ahmad Mohseni.
Squad: Mehdi Nawrozi (captain), Hamid Reza Hossaini, Khodadad Ebrahimi, Reza Hossainpur, Mehran Gholami, Omid Qanbari, Akbar Kazemi, Mohammad Moradi, Farzad Mahmoodi, Syed Murtaza Hossaini, Syed Mojtaba Hossaini, Syed Hossain Mousavi, Mohammad Reza Karimi, and Abbas Haidari.
The five-day training camp will be held in Kuwait from December 18 to 23, 2025. During the camp, the team will play two friendly matches against Kuwait on December 20 and 22.
The AFF stated that the camp aims to prepare the national futsal team for a strong performance at the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026.
