FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Two people have lost their lives and ten others—including women and children—were injured after a passenger vehicle overturned in the Ab Kamari district of Badghis province in western Afghanistan.
Sediqullah Sediqi, spokesperson for the Badghis police, said the incident involved a passenger vehicle of the “Flancoach” type, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to ten others, including women and children.
He added: “The traffic incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. on Thursday in the Haft Shahid area of Ab Kamari district, and the injured were transferred to the Qala-i-Naw city hospital.”
According to him, the condition of two of the injured was critical, and they were transferred to Herat province for better medical treatment.
Officials cited driver negligence and poor road conditions as the causes of the incident.
