KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): A woman and her two children were killed when the roof of a room in their house collapsed in Khakrez district of southern Kandahar province on Saturday.
Mullah Asadullah Jamshid, spokesman for the Kandahar police, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place this morning in Dumandi Barma area.
He added that a mother and her two children lost their lives in the incident that followed heavy rains.
According to him, the house was not built in a standard way and its roof collapsed due to heavy rains.
