Afghanistan, Kuwait draw 4-4 in first Futsal friendly

KABUL (Pajhwok): The first futsal friendly match between Afghanistan and Kuwait ended in a draw, with the second fixture scheduled for Monday.

The Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) said the national futsal team played its opening friendly against Kuwait on Saturday night, with the match finishing 4–4.

According to the AFF, Syed Murtaza Hussaini, Hamid Reza Hussaini and Omid Qanbari were on the scoresheet for Afghanistan.

The federation added that the two sides will meet again in their second friendly match on Monday.

The Afghan national team is currently holding a training camp in Kuwait as part of its preparations for the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup, with the friendly matches forming an integral part of those preparations.
