KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) says police have impounded 1,310 unregistered vehicles and cars fitted with illegal black-tinted windows in the capital, Kabul, over the past week.
In a statement, MoI said the Public Security Department, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic Police, seized the vehicles at inspection checkpoints at Kabul’s entry gates.
The statement added that 127 vehicles were stopped at checkpoints of the city and transferred to the police township.
The remaining 1,183 vehicles, which were registered in other provinces, were denied entry into Kabul and sent back to their respective provinces.
