KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced that a man was arrested in Chahardara district of northern Kunduz with 169 kilograms of narcotics.
According to the MoI, counter-narcotics forces conducted intelligence operations in the Irang area of Chahardara district, resulting in the arrest of the suspect with 169 kilograms of narcotics, including 49 kilograms of hashish.
The ministry added that the drugs had been skillfully concealed in a vehicle and were intended for smuggling.
It noted that the arrested individual will be handed over to judicial authorities following initial investigations.
