Sweden pledges $6.4m in aid to Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan (STFA) has announced that Sweden has contributed $6.4 million in aid to the country.

In a Facebook post, STFA noted that the assistance is equivalent to approximately 60 million Swedish kronor.

Sources say the aid will help expand essential services supporting the economic and climate resilience of displaced persons.

It is worth noting that just a few days ago, STFA also reported receiving 2.4 million euros in aid from Italy.
