2 children rescued from kidnappers in Sar-I-Pul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have rescued two children from kidnappers and arrested three suspects in connection with the case in the northern Sar-i-Pul province , police said on Monday.

In a statement, the provincial police headquarters said the children were abducted from the Qazi Keenti area of Sar-i-Pul city. Security forces located the victims within 11 hours of the abduction and safely returned them to their families.

The statement added that three individuals have been detained on charges of kidnapping and will be handed over to judicial authorities following the completion of investigations.
