KABUL (Pajhwok): Four armed men have been killed in a clash with Tajikistani border forces in Shamsiddin Shohin district, according to a media report on Monday.
The men crossed the border at around 12:30 p.m. local time on Sunday, the state news agency Khovar reported, citing the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan.
They reportedly ignored orders to surrender and opened fire, prompting a combat operation near the Afghan border in which all four were killed.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has not issued a comment on the incident so far.
