Mother, 6 children killed in Nangarhar house roof collapse

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A mother and her six children have been killed and the father injured after the roof of their house collapsed in eastern Nangarhar province.

According to a statement from the provincial police headquarters, the incident occurred on Wednesday night in the Ghochako area of the 7th municipality district of Jalalabad city.

The police added that the house, located along a canal, had previously been damaged by water and has now completely collapsed.

The statement confirmed that out of the eight family members, the mother and six children lost their lives, while the father sustained injuries in the incident.
