KABUL (Pajhwok): The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) mission in Kabul announced that its ambassador met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the German Embassy to discuss recent developments in Afghanistan, including security, humanitarian and economic conditions and political challenges.
On its X account, the OIC mission said Mohammad Syed Al-Ayash, the organisation’s ambassador in Kabul, held talks with Rolf Dieter Reinhard, the German embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires for Afghanistan.
According to the statement, both sides exchanged views on the latest developments in the country, focusing on security, humanitarian needs, and economic conditions.
They also reviewed political developments and the challenges facing Afghanistan, emphasizing the importance of continued international engagement and support.
The OIC mission added that both parties stressed the need for sustained cooperation and coordination, reaffirming their commitment to working together to support stability and improve the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.
