4 armed robbers killed during theft in Jawzjan

SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Four armed robbers were killed in a clash with security forces during an attempted burglary in the capital northern Jawzajn, the provincial capital.

According to the Jowzjan Police, the incident occurred on Saturday night in Jalalabad village. The robbers had entered a house, tied up the family members, and stolen cash and gold jewelry.

Security forces were dispatched to the scene to apprehend the suspects. The robbers opened fire while surrounded and attempted to flee, resulting in all four being killed in the confrontation.

The police confirmed that the stolen cash, gold, and other items have been returned to the family.
