DABS extends electricity import contract with Iran

KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) announced that a delegation led by the company’s CEO, Mulla Abdul Haq Hamkar, signed a contract in Iran to extend electricity imports for the solar year 1405.

According to DABS, the visit was made at the invitation of the Management, Transmission, and Distribution Company of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Tavanir).

The high-level DABS delegation held a joint bilateral meeting in Tehran with Iranian officials to discuss the development of electricity transmission infrastructure and the continued purchase of imported electricity.

The company emphasized that through regular engagement with neighboring electricity-exporting countries, it has strengthened cooperation and relations, resulting in greater facilitation across various aspects of imported electricity.
