PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Construction has begun on a 50 million afghanis project to build internal roads at Logar University in central Logar province, an official said on Monday.
Deputy Director of Logar University, Mawlawi Fazl-ul-Rabi Mustafa, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the project was approved earlier this year by the Ministry of Higher Education, but its implementation was delayed due to cold weather.
He said work has now resumed and is expected to be completed within the coming year.
According to Mustafa, the project includes the construction of internal roads, walkways, parks and a roundabout within the university compound, all to be built according to standard specifications.
Officials added that the project is scheduled to be finalised in the solar year 1405 and put into use, significantly improving transportation facilities for students and lecturers.
