KABUL (Pajhwok): The white-ball cricket series between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka, scheduled for March in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has been postponed.
A reliable source at the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) confirmed to Pajhwok Afghan News that the series has been delayed and will be rescheduled for a more suitable time.
Earlier, ESPNcricinfo reported that the series, originally planned for March in the UAE, might be postponed indefinitely due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
The two sides were scheduled to play three T20 Internationals (T20Is) and as many One-Day Internationals (ODIs) from March 13 to 25 in the UAE, with Afghanistan set to host the matches.
