Farah man detained for allegedly killing wife

KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested a man on suspicion of killing his wife in western Farah province, police said on Tuesday.

In a statement, the police headquarters said the suspect, identified as Ismail, a resident of Gulistan district, allegedly shot his wife dead with a Kalashnikov rifle.

The statement added that security forces rushed to the scene and detained the suspect.

Further investigations into the incident are ongoing.
