Female doctor stabbed to death in Kunduz

KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): A female doctor was stabbed to death by an unidentified assailant in Imam Sahib district of northern Kunduz province.

Jumauddin Khaksar, spokesperson for the Kunduz police, said the incident occurred on Thursday evening in an area under the fourth security precinct of Imam Sahib district.

According to him, the doctor was attacked while returning home from her pharmacy after finishing work.

He added that security personnel from the Imam Sahib district police have launched a thorough investigation to identify, arrest, and bring the perpetrators to justice.
