IRGC spokesperson Naini reported killed in attack

KABUL (Pajhwok): Ali Mohammad Naini, spokesperson and deputy head of public relations for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has been killed in an attack, Iranian media reported.

According to the reports, Naini was killed in the early hours of the last day of Ramadan.

In a statement, the IRGC said the official was killed in a “terrorist attack,” but did not provide further details about the location, nature of the incident, or those responsible.

Iranian media, citing official military sources, confirmed the killing and described Naini as a senior media figure within the IRGC.
