KABUL (Pajhwok): A woman has been killed and six others injured after the roofs of two houses collapsed in eastern Nangarhar province, police said on Monday.
According to a statement from Nangarhar police, the incident occurred on Sunday night in the Canal No. 25 area of Ghanikhel district.
The statement said one woman was killed and four others were injured in the incident.
It added that in the Landai area of Nazyan district, the roof of a room in another house also collapsed, injuring two people.
Police said security officials responded immediately, arriving at the scene and transferring the injured to nearby health centers for treatment.
