KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT) says that with the activation of around 31 new telecom towers across central Logar last year, nearly 90 percent of the province is now covered by telecommunications services.
Enayatullah Alokozai, spokesman for the ministry, wrote on his X account that the telecom towers have been activated in several districts, including the provincial centre, particularly in areas that previously lacked any telecommunications services.
According to Alokozai, there are currently about 107 telecom towers active across different parts of Logar, most of which provide internet and voice communication services.
