KABUL (Pajhwok): Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs Mullah Noorullah Noori praised public support against Pakistan during a gathering in Nangarhar, stating that all Afghans are mujahideen who have consistently defeated their enemies through jihad and struggle.
According to a ministry statement, Noori met on Thursday with scholars, tribal elders, and youth in Nangarhar province.
The statement said that during the meeting, Noori commended the people’s unity and support during recent attacks by Pakistan’s military regime, thanking them for their wholehearted backing of the Islamic Emirate’s mujahideen.
He said: “All the people of Afghanistan are mujahideen. They have always defeated the enemy through jihad and struggle, achieving independence through faith and Afghan pride. The people of eastern and western Afghanistan constitute our army and have actively participated in jihad alongside the Islamic Emirate’s mujahideen, contributing to the defeat of major empires.”
The ministry added that, at the conclusion of the gathering, scholars, tribal elders, and university professors stressed that Pakistan does not want a stable Islamic system in Afghanistan and seeks to undermine Afghan unity.
They reaffirmed their commitment to defend the country’s Islamic system and sovereignty.
